Manager, Customer Service
Plans, schedules, and directs customer service, and product services activities. Creates, documents, implements and enforces standard work procedures.
Acts as link between inside sales and production management. Performs the following duties personally or through subordinate personnel.
Customer Support Management
Manage, coordinate and lead inside sales staff; set work priorities.
Ensure phone coverage for set business hours.
Oversee and ensure correct order entry, product pricing, quoting and order tracking via our operations system software, phone, fax or email.
Assist sales reps, customers, sales personnel and inside sales personnel to develop and maintain a strong relationship and a high standard in product knowledge.
Work with production, planning, accounting and marketing to ensure that we meet our customer's needs.
Prepare, implement and maintain inside sales benchmark reports and standard work procedures and present to management.
Plan, recommend, justify and implement changes in (standard) work procedures for inside sales using lean manufacturing principles
Plan, recommend, and justify staff requirements and capital expenditures for inside sales department based on annual company goals / budget.
Provide daily updates summarizing the daily activates of the department including product lead-times, returned goods and daily bookings.
Manage the implementation of all aspects of product price increases and the distribution of product pricing updates to all customers.
