Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Medical Office Front Desk Re6ceptionist.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or fees
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about services offered
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
Skills:
- Must have fluent Spanish speaking skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using phone systems and electronic medical record (EMR) software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is preferred but not required
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations, such as emergencies (ER)
