Position Title : Talent Acquisition Specialist III

Number of Positions Needed : 2

Length of Contract : 6 Months

Location / Site : AP34

Both may be full remote to support internal clients located in CST. If local to corporate ABV offices, they have the option to be onsite as they would like, but is not required.

Two slots will be allowed for this role. Each agency to submit one onsite and one remote candidate for consideration. Please clearly indicate at the top of their resume, the state from where they will be working.

Senior Recruiter, Research and Development

Our Talent Acquisition organization has an exciting opportunity for a contract Senior Recruiter to support the Research & Development organization.

The Senior Recruiter is responsible for developing and executing robust recruitment strategies that align with the business s needs, goals, and objectives.

In addition to sourcing and recruiting top talent for , this role requires collaborative strategic partnering with the business as well as cross-functional Talent Acquisition and HR partners.

Responsibilities :

Lead full life-cycle recruitment efforts for one or more business functions in R&D.

Identify and attract top, qualified candidates for open requisitions by utilizing multiple recruitment tools and tactics to source passive and engaged candidates.

Pre-screen and present a diverse slate of candidates for open roles. Develop a strong, qualified pipeline of candidates for future openings.

Update and manage candidates applications status within an applicant tracking system to ensure that candidates are receiving information regarding their application timely, also ensuring that recruiting metrics are accurately tracked and key activities are tracked.

As a trusted partner, utilize a consultative approach to guide and manage the recruitment process by supplying direct feedback to hiring teams and sharing guidance that influences hiring decisions.

Establish a true business partnership with hiring managers and leadership on all talent acquisition related topics.

Prepare competitive offer packages, supplying equity and market competitiveness data when needed. Deliver offers to candidates and manage the offer negotiation process through completion.

Compile and communicate recruiting data including key hiring metrics for the function, industry overviews, and market trends to team members and business leaders.

Ensure compliance to state / federal employment laws and policies and practices for applicant tracking compliance and reporting metrics.

Project management in various functional areas at any given time, partnering with talent acquisition team members and cross-functional HR partners to deliver sourcing and recruitment strategies that supply talent for current or future job opportunities.

Qualifications

A bachelor s degree is required

A minimum of 3 years of full-lifecycle recruitment experience in a competitive, demanding, and high-volume environment is required, 5 years is preferred.

Experience recruiting within the biotechnology industry (pharmaceutical, medical device, biomedical research) is highly preferred.

Sourcing experience and expertise is required. The ability to demonstrate success utilizing a variety of different sourcing tools and methods is required.

Must demonstrate the ability to build strong business partnerships, acting as a trusted advisor to the client groups and proven ability to influence leadership.

Must be comfortable with tracking and analyzing data to identify trends and insights that are key to influencing business decisions.

Must be capable of executing complex offer negotiations, looking for creative solutions where possible. Experience developing and communicating compensation packages that include equity and long-term incentives is preferred.

Spotlight Call Notes :

Good fit for our team would be someone with high volume, full-cycle recruitment, bio-tech / pharma / life science experience would be ideal.

Managing HM s, BHR s - providing and excellent experience for candidates, pull data to share with manager s, etc. Sourcing experience would be nice as well as we do not have a sourcing team, they would be doing their own sourcing.

Regular volume of 25 3- reqs ongoing basis.

Medical Affairs, five people on Tahira s team, fast based, excellent customer service, talent advisory we are not order takers, making recommendations and helping them with strategy to move forward.

Good executive presence with leaders / managers professional. Strong communication skills being able to over communicate with leaders, even without new updates, provide an update to the HM to let them know what is going on and where things are, even if things have not changed much since the last communication.

Looking for specific ATS systems? No, moving to SmartRecruiters from Taleo in the near future.

What experience with large bio / medical - it is nice to have, but not required. They need full-cycle recruitment experience they will be hiring scientists from associate to entry level positions.

Are you open for candidates with pharma company only, but recruiting for R&D? Yes, that is fine any pharma is acceptable

Both are falling more under Tahira ongoing, but Courtney is helping with filling these roles. If they live within 30 50 miles of one of our corporate offices, and want to pop in from time to time that is great, but equally okay with fully remote.

Central time zone support is preferred if they are open to converting to CST time zone, so if in PST, must be aware they are supporting CST time zone individuals.

Most HM s being supported are in Lake County, IL.

They are welcome to come in as they wish if living close by.

There are tons of recruiters out there, some are corporate, some are agency agency recruiters to do have high volume would you be interested in agency background recruiters.

We have a lot of corporate recruiters who have this combination and they work out well.

What type of tools are offered for recruiting : LinkedIn; Indeed (some, wouldn t have their own access, would have to share it).

Year s of experience - if we have someone who has done 10 plus years as a clinical recruiter for a pharma company, would they be someone you are interested in - ?

Would prefer to stray away from them if they are expecting to be a manger. They must be okay being an individual contributor.

Would you consider someone with a number of years experience but does not have a bachelor s degree - ? We hesitate because if we did want to convert to an FTE, they would not be eligible to do so due to ABV s educational requirements.

Hate to get a stellar person but then not able to convert them.

Provide Clarity on prefer someone who comes from Pharma / Life Sciences if they have this as a background, but now working with IT positions.

Again, the scientific and clinical is a want, not a requirement. Technical background works well with this team, this is more about the high-volume piece and full cycle requirements.

Volume is managing 25 30 reqs at any given time.

It is full-life cycle recruitment which includes sourcing their own candidates.
