Arnprior Aerospace is Hiring a Quality Manager Near Portland, OR
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the administration of the company's Quality Assurance program.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with the Quality Management System including AS9100
- Ensure ongoing Nadcap certification compliance.
- Implement and maintain processes to ensure our products meet the quality standards through education.
- Interface with customers on quality issues .
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in the quality organization.
- Ensure quality audits and investigations are conducted appropriately.
- Support the Operations team work with key suppliers.
- Coordinate procurement quality assurance.
- Provide leadership for the quality organization and its employees.
- Maintain key Quality performance metrics.
- Maintain inspector equipment, non-destructive testing activities and chemical lab isolated testing.
Mandatory Job Requirements
- Experience in a Quality Management role
- Degree in Quality, Engineering or related field or post secondary
Additional Qualifications
- experience with ISO compliance and certification (ISO 9001 / AS9100)
- experience with Nadcap
- previous experience in a manufacturing/aerospace environment
- experience with staff supervision
- experience working in a team based environment
- ability to lead continuous improvement activities
- computer skills in MS Office Suite
- project management experience
- effective organizational skills with ability to multitask
- ability to assess engineering technical data (ie design drawings,
- process specs.) in order to disposition a quality issue
- knowledge of JIT/Lean production techniques
- general knowledge of process and standard specifications
