Position Function:
The incumbent in this position supports all aspects of the research and education programs associated with the Arizona Veterans Research and Education Foundation (AVREF). The incumbent oversees human resources, invoicing, ordering supplies, and activities supporting research and education within AVREF. The incumbent will assist the Business Operations Manager and the Executive Director with executing appropriate internal controls, tracking key performance indicators, and assure clinical and lab staff are supported in the execution of their roles. The incumbent reports to the Executive Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Knowledge/Skills required by the Position:
A Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field with accounting coursework and two years of professional level accounting and human resource experience, or any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education as approved by the Executive Director.
Environment:
Physical Requirements: Sit for extended periods of time, use computer interfaces, and able to communicate electronically and/or telephonic communication devices.

The incumbent shall work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines. The incumbent shall at all times demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors, vendors, and customers.
