Our Dental Front Office Lead is responsible for helping oversee daily front desk operations. This position will fill in for our practice manager and be responsible for clinic operations if the manager is offsite.

• Monday through Friday

What You'll Do:

• Greet all patients using scripts and office protocol, answer and manage all incoming calls
• Schedule patients for new/returning/follow-up appointments and provide all necessary information to prepare them for appointments and procedures. Insurance verification with carriers and patients.
• Collects co-payments at time of service, ensure proper billing
• Assist with staff schedules, training of new hires, and upholding the our culture.
• Verify and update patient information, inform patients of policies, enter data into the system.
• Organize and communicate with insurance companies for authorizations
• Aid in assuring monthly logs are completed.
• Daily sweeps of the schedule to adjust appointments and verify upcoming week visits and insurance.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a dental front office is required
• Working knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and diagnosis, insurance is required
• Open Dental experience helpful
