Responsibilities:

This job involves coordinating the completion of the MDS and ensuring the residents care plan is developed according to State and Federal guidelines.

• Maintaining current and accurate information on the residents status and need for assessment and following a schedule/calendar for different types of assessments.
• Assigning specific sections of the MDS to the appropriate department and ensuring they are completed and transmitted on time.
• Providing in-service training to all departments on the MDS and RUGS process and communicating effectively with them.

• Ensuring all code and regulatory requirements are met and reporting any problematic reimbursement issues or potentially dangerous situations.
• Scheduling and maintaining ongoing Medicare meetings to review coverage and discharge plans.
• Serving as the Facility Electronic Medical Record Coordinator and the primary contact for Corporate Electronic Medical Record initiatives.
• Having overall responsibility for the facility Employee Health Program and tracking and monitoring resident vaccinations.
• Scheduling and attending Comprehensive Care Plan meetings and conducting Quality Assurance audits as assigned.

Salary: $102,538.80 - $128,164.40 per year
