Arcadis is seeking a Program Manager to support our places infrastructure team. This position is located in Detroit, MI.

Role description:
As a Program Manager , you will ensure projects adhere to client requirements and business goals by developing and driving project plans, managing cross-functional teams, and coordinating activities within the established project timelines for automotive retail programs. Your responsibilities will span all project phases: planning, design/preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover to client. Organization and effective communication are keys to success.
Role accountabilities:

• Providing leadership to on-site construction teams overseeing daily construction work.
• Leading tendering processes, including development of RFPs, bid review and clarification, and development and execution of design, procurement, and construction contracts.
• Ensuring contractors schedule, conduct, and document all construction meetings including construction progress meetings, safety meetings, and inspections including distributing minutes of the meetings.
• Reviewing submittals for conformance with contract documents.
• Coordinating RFIs as required.
• Coordinating design reviews and approvals between owner and contractors.
• Managing work to follow regulatory and industry requirements, including multiple permitting jurisdictions.
• Validating all (interim) payment requests from the General Contractor and all owner subcontractors.
• Reviewing contractors' site-specific health and safety plan and verifying all safety programs align to and are consistent with Arcadis and the owner's health and safety requirements.
• Monitoring contractor adherence to safety standards and approved plans.
• Maintaining accurate project files, meetings records and correspondence.
• Verifying contractors provide all applicable certificates of insurance prior to any work being performed.
• Providing weekly and monthly client reporting packages to senior and executive leaders within the client and Arcadis organizations.
• Driving financial success of projects and programs across North America.
• Leading by example and providing mentorship to young career professionals.

Key Skills:

• Have experience working in utility construction and program management.
• Have familiarity with automotive retail programs.
• Be proficient in construction PMIS systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, P6.
• Have strong program management and client relationship management skills.
• Be self-motivated, team-oriented, and flexible; have the initiative to tackle new challenges daily.
• Be health, safety, and quality focused.
• Be a leader.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10 years of program management experience.
• 5 years of construction or design experience.

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000.
