The Position: We are looking for a Full-time Office Assistant.
Job Type: Full-time.
Qualified applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • Valid Drivers license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or related customer management software.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Typing 40 wpm.
Responsibilities:
  • Answers telephones and directs callers to the appropriate department.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise with or without supervision.
  • Continually learn about new products.
  • Understanding and implementing safety techniques and procedures.
  • Respond to customer requests and questions in a professional manner.
  • Take, retrieve and deliver messages for various personnel.
  • Input and update current and new customer information.
  • Manage appointment calendars for assigned management staff.
  • Assist department manager(s) with routing and scheduling services.
  • Assists with office inventory monitoring, ordering, receiving, and stocking.
  • Assist with clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and retrieving or sending mail.
  • Up-sell and sell additional products/services to existing clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
