Our client is seeking a Finance Accounting Manager to join their team. This is a full-time opportunity with a direct client of Aprio Talent Solutions.

Location: Miami, FL (downtown)

Onsite: 5 days per week

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Finance Accounting Manager to oversee our client's financial operations and ensure the efficient management of their resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate development and nonprofit accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage annual and multi-year budgets to meet the organization’s needs, including periodic budget forecasts.
• Prepare and maintain cash flow analyses as required.
• Analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows) and convey analysis effectively to staff.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end books for audit purposes.
• Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations for all relevant entities.
• Process vendor payments, check requests, and employee reimbursements, including managing employee credit card charges and reconciling credit card accounts.
• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts as assigned.
• Respond to staff inquiries regarding budgets, deposits, disbursements, and grant reporting requests.
• Assist in reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Process payroll and report payroll taxes for the organization.
• Perform basic office management duties as requested.

Desired Qualifications:

• Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in nonprofit accounting.
• Experience in managing public or nonprofit funds.
• Outstanding client service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively internally and with other charter schools.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
