Position Overview:
As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within the hotel, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulations. You will play a crucial role in optimizing financial performance, implementing effective financial strategies, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to guide decision-making and achieve financial targets.
2.Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
3.Cost Control: Implement strategies to monitor and control costs across all departments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
4.Revenue Management: Analyze revenue streams, monitor trends, and develop strategies to maximize revenue generation and profitability.
5.Cash Management: Manage cash flow, optimize working capital, and oversee banking activities to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
6.Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and industry standards, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
7.Financial Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency exchange fluctuations, interest rate risks, and credit risks, to safeguard the hotel’s financial stability.
8.Financial Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the hotel’s business objectives and long-term growth plans.
9.Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
10.Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance, key insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, including executive management, department heads, and external partners.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
•Proven experience in financial management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
•Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
•Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
•Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
•Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
