Job Overview: The Finance Manager is a crucial role focused on safeguarding the company's financial assets and managing its financial operations, with a special emphasis on optimizing cash flow. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all aspects of the company's cash flow, including the management of incoming and outgoing funds, to ensure the company's growth and financial stability.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimize efficiency and liquidity and minimize costs.
2. Forecast daily cash requirements and execute daily financing decisions; manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in a timely manner.
3. Manage and negotiate with banks and other financial services for favorable terms in financing and banking services.
4. Oversee electronic payments and collections, ensuring they are executed accurately and timely.
5. Evaluate, develop, and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies.
6. Understand and manage appropriate accounting procedures and processes.
7. Monitor bank service fees and address quality issues.
8. Conduct benchmark studies of banks and their services to evaluate whether it fits the company's requirements.
9. Meet with cash management banks to plan cash management vs. company’s needs.
10. Assess the performance of the company's investment portfolio, ensuring it aligns with the cash flow needs and risk strategy.
11. Advise management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-range planning.
12. Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities, focusing on cash transactions.
13. Monitor and manage the organization’s bank relationships and liquidity management.
14. Manage and supervise direct reports within the Treasury Department.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Treasury Manager, with a strong emphasis on cash flow management.
• Expertise in liquidity management and cash flow forecasting.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, financial solutions, and instruments.
• Proficient in the use of financial modeling and analysis tools.
• BSc/BA in Finance, Accounting or relevant field; MSc/MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA/CPA) is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications such as an MBA, CPA, or CTP are highly valued.
