General:
The Technical Sales Support or TSS will be trained on the technical aspects of Siemens Measurement
Intelligence, including Level, Flow, Pressure, Temperature, Continuous Gas Analysis. They would then
work with existing representative sales force to promote these products.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Work with the Application Engineering Team to provide technical feedback for the preparation of a
proposal.
Work with Field Sales to support the promotion of Siemens MI products.
Work directly with client to support project development and execution of Siemens MI products.
Attend trade shows to promote products.
Work with client to support technical training, start-up and commissioning, service.
Education and Experience Required / Preferred:
B.S. Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Sales aptitude.
Skills Required:
Organizational skills and time management.
Effective communications skills both written and verbal for interface with Clients and co-workers.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical
procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and
customers.
Ability to multi task, use initiative, and sometimes work under pressure to achieve deadlines.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only
limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram,
or schedule form.
Motivation to contribute to and develop with the company as growth / diversification continues.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Effective computer skills: Microsoft Office Software, Excel, and other Company and discipline specific
software applications.
Travel Percentage:
Regularly, 75%.
