Position Overview:
As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data to support decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Assist with audits and tax filings, liaising with external auditors and tax professionals as needed
Stay up-to-date on accounting principles and industry trends, recommending process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the Construction industry
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
