Job Title: Inventory Specialist JD

Location: Dallas, TX

Salary: $60K-$65K

Position Summary:

Apkudo is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our operations team. The Inventory Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining accurate inventory records to support our fast-paced business operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What you’ll do:

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock counts, adjustments, and transfers.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure data integrity and identify discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and proactively reorder stock to prevent shortages.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize losses.
  • Pull and process inventory for site locations
  • Palletize inventory for shipments.
  • Knowledge of documents needed for international shipments.
  • Manage inventory levels at multiple locations.
  • Implement 5S methodology

Supply Chain Coordination:

  • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt and distribution of inventory.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues related to deliveries, discrepancies, and quality concerns.
  • Track shipments and update relevant stakeholders on delivery status and potential delays.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and turnover rates.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stocking strategies.
  • Maintain documentation of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and adjustments.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline inventory management processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Recommend and implement solutions to address inventory-related challenges and improve accuracy.
  • Continuously evaluate existing procedures and systems to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll need:

  • Proven 4 years of experience in inventory management or related roles, preferably in a technology or manufacturing environment.
  • Lift 50 pounds
  • Forklift trained with certification
  • This position will require the candidate to stand most of the shift.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
