Regional Sales Manager

Our fast-paced team strives to exceed customer expectations with our products, services and customer service. We are seeking a dynamic and driven Regional Sales Manager to join our growing company.

Position Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager is a territory sales manager (no direct reports) and provides support to the Director of Sales & Marketing by developing and executing business solutions with the end goal to generate more revenue for the company. This position is responsible for leading and running the entire sales cycle, managing client accounts and coming up with sales ideas to fulfill company business objectives. This includes new sales strategies, relevant sales presentations, and business plans. In this role, you should expect to be in a fast-paced work environment and be able to prioritize tasks appropriately. The ideal candidate will be a strong strategic thinking and self-directed individual who is open to change and challenges as they arise. 

Responsibilities:

  • Executes sales, business and business development
  • Brainstorm with the business development team to create new project strategies
  • Manage company and client expectations
  • Identify sales and services that would appeal to new or existing clients
  • Interact with new clients, gain referrals and form strong relationships that open doors and close deals.
  • Find and develop new market segments within the RF Chamber business
  • Manage and develop key client accounts
  • Find and follow new sales leads
  • Manage and update company estimating tools and methodologies.
  • Develop technical product knowledge.
  • Negotiate sales contracts/purchase orders
  • Drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring and developing new and fast-growing business
  • Build a pipeline for growth and closing business, including statements of work and contracts.
  • Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories
  • Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
  • Build trust and long-term relationships with clients/customers
  • Maintain CRM tool and anlayze data trends
  • Maintain 30% closing ratio or as directed
  • Establish rapport, build relationships, gain referrals and explore new EMC/EMI Chamber opportunities
  • Researching industry trends, organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of current market conditions and current penetration of services and solutions
  • Review and evaluate bid packages, scope of work and bid drawings for the purpose of formulating proposal bid sales packages 
  • Arrange business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective clients
  • Attend networking events, conferences, online/in person meetings, and industry related events
  • Develop quotes and client proposals.
  • Generate accurate sales cost estimates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent industry experience is required.
  • Ten or more years of Technical Sales experience
  • Strong experience in sales, account management, marketing or related field.
  • Hunter business development experience with strong closure capabilities.
  • Experience in business strategy and market development, relationship building, advanced closure, and in driving sales in a solutions-selling environment at end-user and C-level capacity.
  • Strong 360-degree strategic thinking is critical to success in the role.
  • EMC/EMI/Wireless or RF Shielding Industry knowledge highly desirable
  • Agility to respond to new situations by modifying your performance and adopting new skills and abilities.
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor in addressing our customers’ business needs and pain points.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, sense of urgency is important
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting on general and industry-specific topics.
  • Team player, positive contributor and willingness to go above and beyond to accomplish objectives.
  • Experience reading/interpreting blueprint, shop drawings for the purpose of bid package submittals.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Social Media platforms, virtual meeting software and comfortable using a computer for various tasks
  • Willingness to travel in the US and International as necessary.
  • May require frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
