Anodyne is Hiring a Remote Field Sales Representative (New England/NYC metro)

Job Summary

This is a field sales position. The Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining/retaining/growing existing business and acquiring new business within the states of Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, Massachusetts, and NYC metro.

The candidate MUST reside in the assigned territory, preferably in Connecticut as it is central to the territory.

The primary call points are Orthotic and Prosthetic (O&P) practices, Podiatric Physician practices (Podiatry), Pedorthists, Pharmacies, and DME facilities.

Sales representatives will have the opportunity to build a high yielding territory and to make an immediate impact on overall company performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Sell and promote Anodyne products utilizing various sales methods.
  • Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain positive business relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Cultivate new leads within the sales territory
  • Evaluate customer needs and provide product and system training to clients, as needed.
  • Meet personal and team sales goals/targets.
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through on leads.
  • Attend meetings, sales events, trade shows, and training to keep abreast of the latest developments.
  • Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data.
  • Maintain and expand client database with assigned territory.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Experience selling medical products/devices in a business-to-business setting is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in the footwear industry a plus.
  • Existing relationships with one or more of primary call points in the market is a plus.
  • A verifiable and demonstrated mastery of the sales process and history of top performance.
  • Must be extremely organized, energized and a self-starter that thrives on closing the deal!
  • Must be a self-starter with an intrinsic understanding of that it means to work hard.
  • Experience working with a CRM
  • Computer use competency – (MS Office, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills-specifically with medical professionals.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to drive to customer locations in assigned territory.
  • Travel – 50% with approximately 20% overnight travel

Compensation
