About the team

The Senior Product Manager for Pro Profiles plays a critical role within the Homeowner team at Angi. This team is responsible for matching homeowners with the best pros suited for their projects, ensuring homeowners have support and guidance every step of the way from Angi and their pros until they get the job done well. We accomplish this by having highly effective job planning, scoping, and matching tools for homeowners to find the right pros for their job within the largest network of service professionals.
About the role

As the Senior Product Manager for Pro Profiles, you will shape the way that millions of Service Professionals are showcased on Angi to drive a best-in-class experience for Homeowners to find the right professional for their home service needs. Through a deep understanding of Homeowner pain points when evaluating and choosing a Service Professional, you will define and execute a roadmap that delivers innovative solutions for both Homeowners and Service Professionals within a two-sided marketplace. As a highly collaborative agent of change, you will partner with multiple teams to improve the browsing experience with compelling content, but also reimagine ways for Homeowners to compare pros, start a conversation, and schedule Service Professionals in pursuit of helping them get the job done well.

What you’ll do

  • Establish a deep and nuanced understanding of the challenges faced by Homeowners in evaluating and choosing Service Professionals to connect with by partnering with design and user research to conduct user interviews, develop quantitative surveys, etc.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives
  • Analyze quantitative data augmented by qualitative learnings to uncover thoughtful insights and hypotheses that serve as a basis to inform high-quality, steady velocity experiments
  • Own how pros show up across the Angi ecosystem from pro cards, mini profiles, to the full pro profile
  • Work as part of a larger collective of teams to collaboratively create seamless user journeys that extend across platforms (web and app), users (Homeowners and Service Professionals), content types (reviews, ratings, photos, etc) and sessions
  • Partner closely with Pro product teams to ensure profiles are both the pro’s best foot forward while also ensuring they are unbiased and trustworthy, as well as the Growth product teams to create experiences with high SEO value to attract and convert traffic
  • Stay close to similar product initiatives and common technologies being developed across Angi to ensure that your team’s work is informed by scalability and shared applications across the organization
  • Stay up-to-date and have a point of view how to leverage AI and ML models to solve relevant Homeowner problems in intuitive and scalable ways
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity within the Product Management team, ensuring that user feedback, problems, and needs are at the core of our product development process

Who you are

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical area of study or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5 years of experience in consumer software product management, ideally with experience in multi-sided marketplaces, B2C, growth product, and/or conversion-oriented products.
  • Highly collaborative: You work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Research, Analytics, Product Marketing, and Support, to deliver innovative solutions with measurable business and user impact.
  • Biased for action: You are an accelerator, consistently solving problems, creating focus, and removing barriers to drive learning and progress every single week. You make good decisions with incomplete data and are constantly optimizing for learning.
  • Customer obsessed: You put customers first in every decision and ensure the people around you do the same. You interact with customers regularly, going beyond anecdotes to immerse yourself in the customer experience. You know when to add countervailing customer metrics to business ones and have the courage to push back on decisions that aren't customer-oriented.
  • Data-fluent: you use data to solve problems, identify opportunities, and measure impact. You have strong analytical skills and are largely self-sufficient with tools like Looker, Adobe Analytics and Snowflake
  • A bar raiser: you inspire others to bring their A-game and are constantly looking for opportunities for improvement. You don’t accept things “because that is the way we’ve always done it.”
  • An influencer: You are able to bring people from different functions together, align them around a goal, and get them excited about achieving it

  • Execution is in your nature: you routinely deploy your strong project management skills and have a demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Compensation & Benefits

  • The salary band for this position ranges$140,000 - $190,000 commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living.
