Field Service Industrial Maintenance Technician I - ATS
We are looking for an intermediate Field Service Technician to provide maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of our customers’ industrial equipment. As an industrial maintenance technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and electro-mechanical equipment. This will include performing regular services such as inspections, preventive and repair maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
To ensure success as an industrial maintenance technician, you should have advanced mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery, excellent troubleshooting skills, and good time-management skills. Electrical controls troubleshooting experience is a plus.
Industrial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment.
Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines.
Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
Communicating with customers and with the Anchor team and maintaining a clean work area.
Preparing and submitting maintenance reports.
After-hours call-outs for emergency breakdowns.
Industrial Maintenance Technician Requirements:
Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician, preferably with a Field Service Technician background.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Own your own hand tools.
Basic computer and report writing skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
Good time-management skills.
Drivers License with good driving record.
Pass a skills assessment
Pass a drug screen.
Level I Technician:
Specific training, experience, and certifications in one or more of the following:
In-depth knowledge of electro-mechanical systems maintenance.
Electrical controls
Pneumatics / Hydraulics
