Anchor Industrial is Hiring an Area Manager Near Fort Worth, TX

Area Manager Job Description


Position

Responsible for directing, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of Field Service Technicians and subcontractors in the assigned area. Establishes and accomplishes company objectives by leading and training staff to complete safe and successful technical field service to include scheduled and unscheduled callout maintenance, repairs, and inspections as well as executing company policies. Act as company representative within the market sector.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a culture of safe working practices that follow OSHA industry
  • Empower all employees to stop work if unsafe conditions are
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are maintained in proper working order with all safety
  • Ensure all employees utilize proper lockout/tagout procedures and are made aware of all potential hazards when working in an operational facility.
  • Immediate report of injuries, near misses, or


Personnel Management

  • Recruit, select, orientate, train, coach, counsel, and discipline Field Service Technicians; communicating Anchor's Operating values, strategies, and objectives; assign accountabilities; plan monitor and appraise job results; provide training opportunities.
  • Ensure that all personnel are properly trained and equipped for their job tasks
  • Ensure effective communication up and down the entire chain of
  • Enforce paperwork completion (to include electronic forms) and submission on field personnel as needed
  • Ensure all Field Service Technicians have, and maintain, required personal tools


Planning and Scheduling

  • Scheduling of manpower and coordination with Ensure coverage availability for scheduled work as well as coverage for unscheduled callouts for customer trouble calls
  • Review and update Manpower reports for costs and scheduling
  • Ensure standard personal work times and days for employees to promote Anchor Technical values of employees having adequate family / personal time


Business Development

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with
  • Ensure achievement of company revenue goals by responding to customer needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and sub-


General Office Organization, Staff Administration, and Reporting

  • Ensure immediate invoicing culture for all operations ensuring paperwork is completed daily, and accompanying with customer paperwork (to include electronic formats) within 24 hours of completing work order; Ensure all Time and Material work orders are properly documented for software update, customer information, and billable services.
  • Adhere to company policies (credit card, fleet, employee handbook, drug and alcohol, etc)
  • Interview and hire staff as needed and approved by the Chain of Command
  • Ensure company assets are secure, in proper working order, and in a condition that reflects highly upon the company.


Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

  • 5 years of field service or industrial
  • Experience and skills to provide leadership and administrative management for up to (10)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving
  • Effective oral and written communication skills including the ability to present ideas and/or facts and
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of corporate policies and
  • Demonstrated ability to execute ideas either alone or in a team
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and demonstrate time management and adaptability.
  • Experience with computer software: Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge on how CMMS


Working Environment Demands

  • Intermittent physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, climbing, and
