We are seeking an Accounting Manager responsible for all compensation-related accounting and reporting across all AMLI entities, including payroll, benefits, and incentive bonus plans. Essential Functions include: Compensation Accounting Review system-generated biweekly accounting reports and entries. Post ad hoc entries as needed. Review employee allocations are updated for new hires and transfers. Review overtime premium calculations. Coordinate funding of payroll and benefits and reconcile associated clearing accounts. Coordinate annual salary and bonus approval process for corporate employees. Prepare monthly regional payroll variance files. Prepare compensation reports and projections for internal and external users. Support Payroll, Human Resources, Accounting, and others with ad hoc analysis. Incentive Bonus Plans Oversee quarterly bonus files for on-site leadership. Update and record projections related to executive bonus plans. 401(k) Plan Manage all data exchanges between AMLI and plan administrator, including reconciliations, to ensure system integrations operate as intended. Attend quarterly 401(k) committee meetings. Manage external audits Workers’ Comp Manage estimates and related payments to insurer. Manage annual audit and true-up process. Additional duties, functions, and responsibilities: Prepare all accounting entries for all investor and investment activities. Prepare quarterly financial statements and individual investor statements. Support external tax consultants and external audits Provide back-up support for AMLI Management Company corporate accounting (e.g., preparing journal entries, updating schedules, etc.) Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. CPA preferred. Job Experience 5 years’ experience in an Accounting or similar role. Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from coworkers, managers, executives, auditors and regulatory bodies Workday experience a plus. Ability to analyze large data sets with pivot tables and comparable tools. Strong financial analysis for reviewing financial transactions and financial statements for accuracy and required presentation/disclosure.
