As an Accounting & FP&A Manager at YWM you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial records while leveraging your analytical skills to extract valuable insights from data. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to day-to-day accounting activities, and utilizing data analysis to enhance financial reporting.

What You'll Do

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
• Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement within financial and operational data sets.
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Collaborate with internal teams to establish and implement data-driven solutions for improved efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing well-documented and analyzed financial information.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of data-driven internal controls to enhance financial data integrity.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• CPA candidate or certification is a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles with experience in data analysis.
• People leadership/management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
