Xentria is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support the Company’s high growth objectives, goals and strategies under the guidance of the VP of Finance. The Accounting Manager position will lead the month end close process, accounts payable, and will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information to the business leaders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Oversight of corporate accounts payable function
• Prepare journal entry and reconciliations
• Corporate cash, prepaids, fixed assets, accounts payable and accruals/reserves (including chargebacks, prompt pay discounts, product returns etc.) accounting
• Corporate financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and related analytics, including cost center review and comparison to budget and forecast
• Review results on a monthly basis and provide variance analysis
• Develop/ maintain accounting policies, procedures and tools/templates to comply with GAAP
• Implement changes in accounting policies, procedures and system changes 
• Prepare and maintain accounting documentation, including technical accounting research on complex accounting issues and document the position papers 
• Review contracts and determine the accounting impact including the new ASC 606 impact
• Coordination with independent auditors for interim and annual audit
• Draft/ maintain new accounting disclosures to comply with the newly issued accounting standards 
• Develop, implement and review documentation for internal control compliance and testing

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC financial reporting, and management reporting and analysis

Education and/or Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree (accounting or finance preferred).
• CPA required 
• Pharma experience preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of experience with a mixture of public accounting (Big Four preferred) and industry experience that includes technical accounting or reporting responsibilities

Travel

Ability to travel up to 20% (domestic and international)
