American Metals Supply is a growing metals distributor servicing the southeastern part of the USA with offices located in Charlotte, NC.

Our company is seeking a rockstar Outside Sales Representative who will be responsible for growing the Company’s clientele within the geographical areas of South Carolina : Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson.

Competitive compensation includes base salary, car allowance, and sales-based monthly bonus.
Responsibilities :
- Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned goals resulting in consistent territory growth.
- Follows up on proposals and negotiate as needed.
- Must be an expert with respect to pricing levels, competition, and industry standards / requirements.
- Aggressively pursue new leads and opportunities.
- Maintains customer files daily through the Customer Resource Manager (CRM).
- Keeps informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers.
- Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining customers.
- Troubleshoots problems regarding products provided.
- Answers questions from customers and handles complaints.
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements :
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Position requires daily travel within designated territory with overnight stays as required.
- 2-years of construction / building materials sales experience preferred.
- Industrial metal knowledge a plus, but not required.
- Be familiar with the use of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Have ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions.
