We have an opportunity for a remote Director – Advertising Sales and Marketing on our Publishing- Sales team. As a Director – Advertising Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for thesales management of all advertising sales teams and their correspondingmanagement and sales representatives; Pharmaceutical and Devices Team and theHealth Systems and Recruitment Team. Direct revenue responsibility to advance the revenueof the department including management of advertising sales across all printand digital JAMA Network publications and the JAMA Career Center. Overallresponsibilities include serving sales management to sales reps, formulatingshort and long-term financial objectives for advertising initiatives managingand training of the sales force, and assessing business performance againstindustry and AMA financial quality standards. Growth consistent with marketconditions and market share improvement is an important performance criteriafor success.

REQUIREMENTS:
The pay range for this position in Chicago IL, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia, Wisconsin, or Washington D.C. is 160k-$210k. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographical location and business or organizational needs.
