Ambience Healthcare is Hiring a Head of Marketing Near San Francisco, CA

The Role:

As Head of Marketing, your mission will be to establish Ambience as the market leader in ambient clinical documentation and as the preferred generative AI partner across leading health systems and provider organizations. You’ll be directly responsible for shaping Ambience’s positioning in the market, accelerating sales/conversion, and thoughtfully propagating Ambience’s success stories to reach key decision-makers of prospective provider organizations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead corporate marketing and product marketing
  • Work closely with leadership to frame and communicate Ambience’s unique value propositions in a rapidly developing market
  • Ensure that all of Ambience’s public-facing materials (website, case studies, LinkedIn, etc.) effectively propagate the messaging strategy
  • Scope and execute the strategy for announcing new features & products
  • Increase win rates and accelerate conversion through the sales funnel through thoughtfully positioned sales collateral to address the buying needs of each stakeholder group
  • Build and manage a team of world-class marketing talent

Who You Are: 

  • This position is ideal for someone with 6 years of B2B marketing experience who is looking to stand up and own the marketing function in an entrepreneurial, mission-driven environment 
  • You have a strong track record of positioning enterprise healthcare software for an audience of health systems and large provider organizations
  • You enjoy being a player-coach: you’re excited to roll up your sleeves and execute projects yourself while coaching and mentoring others
  • You have at least 2 years of experience managing and scaling high-performance teams
  • You have a demonstrated ability to thrive in environments with high levels of complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguity
  • You have a demonstrated ability to resourcefully drive outsized outcomes, even on accelerated timelines and with startup-level resources
  • You have experience with (or the ability to quickly learn) the decision-making process within provider organizations
  • You have the ability to create materials (emails, white papers, case studies, one-pagers, blogs, and other collateral) with high-quality content and visual polish
  • You are willing to travel to certain key conferences and events as needed
  • You have the ability to process complex situations and synthesize clear frameworks to enable the team to make effective decisions
  • You have the ability to coordinate internal and external stakeholders through proactive written and verbal communication
  • You have the ability to own execution of ideas from inception through to successful outcomes
  • You are a low-ego team player who prioritizes co-discovering the best ideas, even if they’re not your ideas
  • You value being a kind, encouraging, and supportive teammate to others
  • You have demonstrated the ability to thrive in environments with high levels of complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguity

Compensation: 

The base compensation range for the role is: $180,000 - $250,000 based on leveling and desired cash/equity split. Philosophically, we lean towards generous equity grants so that our team truly gets to share in the impact they create.
