Amazon Web Services Inc. is Hiring a Marketplace Channel Resell Strategy Lead, Channel Resell Partners COE Near Seattle, WA

Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for world class candidates to lead our Global AWS Marketplace Resell Business.
Operating on a global level, you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy to bring AWS to partners across the world. You will work closely with teams including our service teams, AWS Marketplace Teams, ISVs, and regional teams to develop and deliver scalable strategies which partners can use to reach new customers and grow our partnerships. You will enable partners to drive exponential growth through the development of their practice areas, skillsets, and go-to-market with AWS. You will also drive new AWS revenue opportunities through market development.
The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, and to build and convey compelling partner value. You will have have a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level and a sales background that enables them to easily interact with Enterprise customers and sales/field reps across a named area.
Key job responsibilities
  • Work with ISV Alliances, Channel sales and Leadership to drive adoption and scale with AWS Marketplace channel programs and channel partners.
  • Help ISVs with an indirect sales model activate AWS channel partners to resell their solutions through AWS Marketplace.
  • Gather feedback to influence the future development of enhancements for product roadmap.
  • Provide operational efficiency for ISVs to extend reseller authorizations to AWS Marketplace channel partners.
  • Create Go-to Market lead generation activities with ISVs to identify new customer segments and markets with channel partners.
  • Help ISVs list professional services and channel partner managed services on AWS Marketplace.
Additional Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Deliver new programs, bring initiatives from pilot through launch, to GA.
  • Engage the Partners’ field sales organization, channels and end customers to create and drive revenue opportunities for AWS.
  • Prepare and give periodic business reviews to the AWS senior management team.
  • Support complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal group.
  • Work with AWS partner solution architects to help assigned partners to define go to market solution offerings utilizing the AWS service portfolio.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • History of consistently exceeding quota and / or key performance metrics
  • Prior experience working with Systems Integrators and Consulting Companies to drive sales.
  • Experience working within the enterprise software development industry is highly desired.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
