Alvernia University is Hiring a Graduate Assistant - Operations Near Reading, PA
The O’Pake Graduate Assistant of Operations will work directly with the O’Pake Coordinator to assist with office management, events and programming.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage all office management activities
- Manage all O’Pake events, meetings and programs
- Provide direct support to the O’Pake leadership team
- Manage the O’Pake Fellows Team
- Project assignment, management and oversight
- Work alongside the Graduate Assistants and related positions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, InDesign, Photoshop and Google Platforms
- Familiar with social media platforms (Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram)
- Motivated, self-starting and hard working attitude
- The ability to demonstrate time and project management skills
Education and Experience:
- College Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of related experience
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times
