Alvernia University is Hiring a Graduate Assistant of Marketing - The O'Pake Institute Near Reading, PA
Job Summary:
The O’Pake Graduate Assistant of marketing is responsible for managing a portion of the O’Pake Client Portfolio and working directly on all marketing, digital design and media art services. This role is also responsible for engaging in collaborate community outreach efforts and working directly with AU marketing and communications.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the O’PakeInstiute’s Client Portfolio on all marketing and design activity
- Coordinate with the AU Marketing and Communications Department
- Manage the O’Pake Fellows Team
- Project assignment, management, and oversight
- Work alongside the Graduate Assistants and related positions
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, InDesign, Photoshop, and Google Platforms
- Familiar with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
- Motivated, self-starting, and hard-working attitude
- The ability to demonstrate time and project management skills
Education and Experience:
- College Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of related experience
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times
