Summary of Duties:

The incumbent in this position works under the supervision of the Instructional Technology Faculty

Support Manager by assisting with the following:

• Responsible for assisting in developing, producing, and distributing audio/video/graphic content for faculty and students

• Responsible for overseeing Media Suite technologies including inventory management, reservations, troubleshooting and maintenance

• Responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling of four (4) Media Center Student Workers

• Assist with daily office responsibilities including database maintenance, filing, copying, phones, guest and vendor reception, etc.

• Perform other duties as assigned

Major Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Facilitate daily office responsibilities including managing Student Workers, managing the inventory of equipment, checking in and out various devices, database maintenance, poster printing, filing, copying, phones, guest & vendor reception, etc.

• Manage the University Print Shop which is run out of the Media Center including Coordination and prioritization or print jobs to ensure efficient production schedules and timely delivery of printed materials, and management of print shop invoicing system.

• Assist with recording on site and remote events.

• Assist with the development of multimedia video lectures and podcasts.

• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and current enrollment in an Alvernia graduate program

• Familiarity with current software used for digital media creation

• Excellent communication and project management skills

• Ability to think creatively and innovatively

• Ability to prioritize work, manage time, and multitask appropriately

• Ability to function autonomously and as a member of a team

• Ability to delegate tasks among team and prioritize assignments appropriately to maximize productivity and meet deadlines

• Proven PC and Mac skills

• Lift up to 50 lbs.

• Flexible schedule to allow for frequent evening work
