International Energy company is seeking a Junior Asset Analyst who plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the commercial, contractual, regulatory, and reporting aspects of a large utility-scale solar project in Texas. This position collaborates closely with the accounting team to ensure compliance with accounting and tax requirements, offering an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking to grow their expertise in solar project asset management within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing the project-level annual budget, reforecast, and monthly operating reports, providing detailed variance explanations.
• Coordinate with the accounting team and asset management service providers to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Oversee tax equity investor compliance, including monthly reporting, cash distribution, and allocation management.
• Manage project cash flows, including distributions and vendor payments.
• Handle major project documents and lead the resolution of significant operational agreement issues.
• Renew insurance policies and manage claims with assistance from insurance brokers.
• Support the application of property tax limitations and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including NERC and ERCOT.
• Explore opportunities to enhance project value through the adoption of new technologies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Direct Reports: Reports to Senior Director (Project Manager).

Travel Requirements: 0% - 15%

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field (Business, Finance, or related field preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management.
• Advanced degree or MBA is advantageous.
• Exhibits a positive, self-motivated, and growth-oriented attitude.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective in a collaborative environment and capable of building meaningful relationships.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods in an office environment.
• Capable of lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Must be knowledgeable about and able to communicate safety protocols effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
