POSITION: Program Manager
Allied Construction Industries (ACI) is a not-for-profit trade association serving the Cincinnati region’s commercial construction industry. The commercial construction sector in the Cincinnati region is responsible for $9.2B in economic activity annually, and 54,282 jobs. ACI’s Construction Career Center (CCC) provides workforce solutions to address the number one issue facing the construction industry: closing the workforce skills and talent gaps. The CCC develops and implements programs and initiatives strengthening pathways to careers in construction, enriching entry level training, upskilling incumbent employees, and developing the next generation of leaders. Programs offered through ACI are considered cradle to career, serving youth and adults across the region.
ACI is looking for a Program Manager to take ownership of adult education and training classes, which includes an emphasis on safety initiatives. This isn't just a role; it's an opportunity to shape the future of education and training at ACI and drive real change in the industry.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND REPONSIBILITIES:
· Strategic Growth and Program Management:
o Envision and drive the expansion of our adult education and training offerings, making ACI a best-in-class center of learning and training in the industry
o Maintain and grow a roster of presenters and instructors, including contact information, specialties, certifications, past clients, and accomplishments.
o Collaborate with the CCC team to ensure success of all workforce solutions programs
· Curriculum Innovation and Delivery:
o Develop relevant and timely curricula, accreditation, programs, and initiatives that align to current industry needs and future trends
o Develop compelling, transformative training experiences that not only educate but inspire our members and their teams
o Analyze and identify program needs to develop new training programs and/or enhance existing programs
· Operational Excellence:
o Deliver and execute educational programming for adults
Coordinate all program logistics including scheduling, securing presenters or instructors, preparing materials, agendas, lesson plans, and the training space.
Recruit participants in classes, workshops, and events
Track all participants to ensure completion of program, certificate distribution, any and all follow-up that may be pertinent
Administrate operations related to recognized apprenticeship programs
Responsible for credential/certification/assessment administration, e.g., NCCER & Work Keys, etc. (prior experience with NCCER & Work Keys not essential)
o Manage budget - responsibility for creating budgets, meeting revenue goals
o Manage and execute ACI’s Annual Safety Day Conference and Awards Luncheon
o Manage ACI workforce-related committee(s) as appropriate, such as the Safety committee
· Building Relationships and Community:
o Responsible for maintaining existing partnerships and developing new ones as appropriate, e.g., Workforce Investment Boards, OSHA, Bureau of Workers Compensation, non-profit and community-based partners, etc.
o Foster strong connections with member companies, understanding their challenges and crafting training solutions that empower and uplift their workforce
o Engage with member companies - from their executive leadership to craft workers – with a servant leadership mindset.
o Ability to speak in front of an audience; this role includes leading conversations, facilitating programs, and presenting to various stakeholders.

PREFERRED ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:

· Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, keeping an eye on both the grand vision and the minute details.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience in learning & development/training program management, or similar.
