Front Desk Job description

URGENTLY HIRING

Florida Center For Allergy & Asthma Care, established in 1974, is the largest allergy and asthma center serving South Florida with the help of expert board-certified physicians. FCAAC has an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual Medical Front Desk for our Office located in North Miami Beach/Miami Beach Florida.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift, Monday - Friday
  • Every other Saturday - 3.5 hours

Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Computer Skills: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  1. Greets patients immediately upon their arrival and provides excellent customer service. 
  2. Check patients in verifying demographics and insurance. 
  3. Directs patients to proper exam/treatment room. 
  4. Handles patient calls and effectively manages schedule. 
  5. Completes referrals and authorizations as needed. 
  6. Checks patients out and makes appointments as indicated. 
  7. Collects co-pays and patient payments. 
  8. Performs other tasks as assigned.
