All Faiths Children’s Advocacy Center (AFCAC) is currently seeking a Clinical Recruiter to join our team and help children and families thrive! AFCAC is the only Children’s Advocacy Center in Albuquerque, working as trusted advocates for children and families affected by trauma.

Required:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 5 years of driving clinical/healthcare recruitment, OR, AA Degree and 3 years of experience driving clinical/healthcare recruitment, OR, Bachelor’s Degree, and 1 year of experience .
  • Valid Driver’s License required. Driving is required to support clinical/healthcare recruitment events and meetings.

Preferred:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Essential Function of a Clinical Recruiter:

The Clinical Recruiter is a service minded individual, driving full cycle recruitment processes from sourcing, attracting, and hiring clinical candidates. The Clinical Recruiter is focused on working closely with hiring managers, interviewing panels in the hiring and retention of employees. The Clinical Recruiter works closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer and the Human Resources Generalist- Recruiter in implementing recruitment strategy, attending events in the community, driving social media presence and engagement, and analyzing recruitment data, driving the ‘recruit with kindness’ modality and driving recruitment results to meet the need of the departments and the agency. The Clinical Recruiter models active listening with a “seek to understand” approach and leans into challenges with a creative, open-minded, collaborative, and solution focused mindset. The Clinical Recruiter strives to create a positive and responsive candidate, hiring and onboarding experience.

What will I do as the Clinical Recruiter with All Faith’s?

  • Strategy:

o Develops and implements overall clinical recruiting strategy in partnership with the CHRO and the Human Resources Generalist-Recruiter.

o Through collaboration with hiring manager, determines recruiting strategy for each open requisition including pre-screening questions, advertising, and sourcing; tracking; participants for interviews.

o Prepares reports on new hire metrics such as time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and source of hire.

  • Collaboration:

o Meets with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.

o Provides recommendations to hiring mangers regarding the recruitment and selection process; help create and facilitate an engaging onboarding experience.

o Acts as a point of contact within the community and build pipeline of talent and talent resources.

o Communicates with external contacts/community to provide information and coordinate meetings/events.

o Work collaboratively with members of HR team to onboard employees seamlessly.

  • Administrative:

o Answers recruitment-based questions through email, phone, or correspondence.

o Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.

o Attends meetings and events with HR Team, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

o Researches community and recruitment details as assigned by Human Resources team.

  • ATS:

o Maintains an up-to-date application file of prospective job candidates.

o Obtains and organizes documentation of screens, interviews, hiring manager decision and declinations, and onboarding paperwork.

o Maintains detail-oriented files, able to provide accurate reporting and progress of candidates.

  • Screening and Interviewing:

o Sources healthcare professionals by cold calling and networking through various sources, including, but not limited to, internet, databases, social media, networking, referrals, nursing schools, direct mail, and job fairs.

o Evaluates candidate resumes against education and experience requirements, present qualified candidates to hiring managers in accordance with agency hiring procedures.

o Facilitates the hiring process, which includes screening, interviewing, and validating credentials/licenses.

o Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and agency policies and HR best practices.

  • Onboarding:

o Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator and HR Coordinator in managing the on-boarding process and collecting all new hire paperwork and enter data into appropriate databases.

o Ensure files are complete with required background checks, including, professional references, CYFD Fingerprinting, Sex Offender, Officer of the Inspector General, etc.

o Creates employee files, collaborating with hiring manager, supervisors, and appropriate teams of schedule for Day 1.

o Maintains communication with new employee to answer questions, concerns and provide support.

  • New Employee Orientation:

o Helps facilitate New Employee Orientation for new employees, sending correspondence of dates and times, organizing materials needed, answering questions regarding orientation.

At All Faith’s Children’s Advocacy Center, we work in a variety of mediums for the treatment of families, children and their caregivers who are struggling due to issues of divorce, homelessness, child abuse/neglect, family violence or other crises.

The Children’s Safehouse provides age-appropriate, legally defensible forensic interviews for children 2-18 years of age and developmentally disabled adults who have been the alleged victim of sexual or physical abuse, or who have witnessed a violent crime. Family advocates work closely with the alleged victim’s guardian to ensure that they are provided resources and follow-up care, such as medical attention, and therapy.

All Faiths Adoption Services works to help children find permanent, loving, and safe homes within a family. We work with birth families to provide comprehensive pregnancy options counseling and with prospective adoptive families for adoptions within New Mexico and between states.

The New Mexico FIESTA Project focuses on creating a support system for adoptive families through networking events, trainings, and connections to resources.

The Home Study Program contracts with the New Mexico Children, Youth & Families Department (CYFD) to provide detailed assessments and recommendations for licensure for both prospective foster families and CYFD adoptive families throughout the state of New Mexico.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities preferred to perform:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in maintaining confidentiality.
  • Possess a high degree of interpersonal competency; ability to work well with diverse groups of professional staff, Leadership Team, volunteers, and external partners.
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, behavioral based, etc.)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
  • Able to handle multiple high priority activities simultaneously, exemplifying organization, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to self-regulate.
  • Exemplify effective communication and active listening skills.
  • Flexibility to pivot in processes and decision making.
  • Ability to create proactive, strategic, and detail-oriented approaches with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Ability to display patience, empathy, and a professional demeanor.
