**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and administrative requirements.

**Responsibilities:**

- Greet customers and answer phones

- Assist with various accounting tasks including scheduling, writing up customer repair orders and timesheets

- Support the Operations Manager in preparing financial reports and documents

- Perform technical accounting duties as needed

- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions

- Assist in governmental accounting tasks as required

**Qualifications:**

- Experience in Accounting with understanding of Quickbooks required

- Strong understanding of accounting principles

- Proficiency in math and analytical skills

- Knowledge of technical accounting practices

- Familiarity with warranty claims a plus

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
