After 15 years of development, the company has already developed into a full-service real estate enterprise integrating real estate investment consulting, architectural design, landscape design, and interior design.As we expand our operations, we are excited to open a new office in San Jose, California.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager (Bilingual in Chinese) to oversee the setup and operations of our new office in San Jose. The Office Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the office environment, providing essential administrative support, and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all office operations and procedures
- Supervise administrative staff and provide guidance and support
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures, work closely with our Los Angeles office
- Manage office budget, including expense tracking and cost control measures
- Maintain vendor relationships and manage procurement of office supplies and equipment
- Organize and coordinate company events, meetings, and conferences
- Ensure efficient operation of office equipment, including phone systems and computer networks
- Manage filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure organization and accessibility of documents
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in both English and Chinese
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of payroll processes and procedures
- Familiarity with budgeting principles and financial management
- Experience in vendor management and procurement processes
- Ability to plan and coordinate events effectively
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred
