Alcohol, Drug & Mental Health Board Franklin Cty. is Hiring an Executive Assistant, Clinical Services Near COLUMBUS, OH

The ADAMH Board of Franklin County provides a pathway to recovery for Franklin County residents needing resources for addiction and mental health. We need you to join our team and help support the work that brings Help, Healing, Health and Hope to our community!
ADAMH is currently searching for an strategic and solution-driven Executive Assistant. In this role, you will provide high-level administrative support for your assigned executive and department, working collaboratively with cross-functional team members to achieve individual, team and organizational goals.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage an active calendar of appointments for the Executive. Plan, coordinate and ensure the executive's schedule is protected and respected. Serve in the "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for those requesting access to the executive's office.
  • Solicits and reviews team meeting requests, prioritizes appointments, and coordinates scheduling with internal external parties.
  • Provides a bridge for smooth communications between the executive’s office and internal departments, demonstrating leadership to maintain creditability, trust, and support with senior management.
  • Compose and prepare correspondence, internal and external memos and emails; research, prioritize and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to assigned office, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
  • Varied administrative support including managing and organizing records and reports, meeting prep support, creation and processing of vendor purchase orders.

What We’re Looking For:

Education:
Associate’s Degree with emphasis in secretarial science or office technology, and/or equivalent experience.

Experience:
Minimum four (4) years’ work experience in executive support or closely related general office experience.

Skills:
Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook and SharePoint skills in MS Office.

Strong organization, planning, time management, and prioritization skills.

Able to work effectively with diverse populations.

Able to represent the board in a professional manner.

Able to operate effectively as a team member to achieve overall objectives.

Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

Strong business acumen and communication skills.

Good problem-solving and negotiation skills

Able to anticipate and take initiative.

Able to work effectively in a team environment and with a wide variety of culturally diverse clients, staff, and public.
