• Establishes short and long term operating and financial objectives for Parts and Service within the Company's overall plans and policies

· Ensures that approved policies and objectives are clearly understood and effectively applied within the department. ·

• Formulates annual and monthly sales/profit objectives and expense budget in accordance with company objectives.

• Reviews and appraises the results of activities within the department and takes appropriate actions as necessary.

• Travels with outside sales force and own on to customer locations on a regular basis promoting Service, Parts, and Dealerships.

• Coordinates the processing of warranty claims with Warranty Manager and administers warranty and policy adjustments in the most fair and honest manner for the customer, dealership and vendor.

• Develops merchandising strategies to ensure the objectives are obtained.

• Promotes safe work habits and ensures that safety rules are followed.

• Develops and maintains policies and practices which will ensure positive customer relations.

• Stays familiar with the activities of competition, market conditions and department operation; keeps the General Manager informed.

• Conducts regular sales meetings.

• Trains and develops personnel.

• Establish schedules and methods for providing facility maintenance services; identify resource needs; review needs with appropriate management staff; allocate resources accordingly.

• Make recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards, policies, and procedures; participate in the implementation of approved policies and procedures; monitor work activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

• Monitor and control supplies and equipment; order supplies and tools as necessary; prepare documents for equipment procurement; prepare specifications and contracts for contract services.

• Coordinate construction projects, remodels, and other special projects as required.

• Coordinate with and oversee contractors providing contract services.

• Key holder for all assigned facilities.

• On site liaison for internal security contact.
