Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements:

Management Analyst – Middle (Action Officer / Budget Analyst): The contractor must have a bachelor’s degree and the following qualifications:

• 5 years of finance and budget management experience
• Having any of the following Certification: - DoD Financial management certification Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3.
• Experience with the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) involves understanding how Military Services and Défense agencies strategize the allocation of future funding for programs, ensuring they adhere to Service Program Guidance (SPG) and Défense Planning Guidance (DPG).

Responsibilities:

• Budget Management: Monitor daily obligations in current and prior year funds, ensuring they align with budget targets and allotments.
• Financial Compliance: Uphold strict adherence to financial laws and regulations to maintain the organization's financial integrity and compliance. Identify and promptly resolve financial problems, even under challenging and sensitive circumstances.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly financial reports, including statistical computations and cost summaries, to provide accurate insights into budget activities. Estimate future financial needs based on data analysis and financial trends. Keep track of the status of funds and update relevant stakeholders on budget and funding information as requested.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Budget Analyst, Financial Specialist, or similar role.
• Solid understanding of financial laws, regulations, and compliance procedures.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to accurately manage financial data.
• Effective communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders and provide clear financial information.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
