A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN ACCOUNTING CLERK

As an Accounting Clerk, you arrive on time each day ready to ensure that all our charges and records are accurate. From data entry and reviewing to scanning and entering/posting vendor bills, you are kept busy every day. You also reconcile vendor accounts and post accounts receivables. We rely on the information that you enter and the resulting reports to be correct. No figure, no matter how small, gets by you without being checked, double-checked, and recorded in the right place.

You spend much of your time using a computer and entering vendor bills, customer billing, etc. Your data entry and accounting skills are essential to our success. Employees and clients alike depend on you for accurate information! You report to management and are an integral part of our operation. You enjoy being a part of our office team and get great satisfaction out of helping our HVAC company thrive by keeping everything up-to-date and accurate.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ACCOUNTING CLERK

• 3 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivables or other related accounting functions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation is a MUST)
• Excellent data entry with extreme accuracy
• Self-motivated with excellent work ethic
• On time and excellent attendance
• Proficient at processing information quickly and a great multitasker, while always ensuring accuracy
• Discreet and committed to confidentiality

Any experience in the HVAC industry would be a plus but is not required. Are you detail-oriented? Are you dedicated to accuracy and able to accomplish data entry tasks with minimal errors?
