Job Summary:

The Accounting Clerk posts records of financial transactions with a focus on accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Verifies, allocates, and posts details of business transactions in accounting systems.
• Summarizes details in separate ledgers or computer files.
• Bank statement reconciliation.
• Compiles reports to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business.
• Prepares sales tax returns.
• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Maintain various tracking files in NetSuite, Ramp, and Excel.
• Cash posting and receipt generation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Three or more years of accounting/bookkeeping experience required.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
