AHMC Healthcare is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Anaheim, CA

Overview

The Administrative Assistant/Time Editor provides primary support for assigned departments including the oversight of employee timekeeping edits, coordination/maintenance of employee certifications and licenses, provides general assistance to new employees, provides secretarial support, and other office activities.

  • This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center (“ARMC”) and AHMC Healthcare Inc (“AHMC”). It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values of ARMC and AHMC. The employee shall support ARMC’s strategic plan and goals and direction of the performance improvement plan. The employee will also be expected to support all organizational expectations including, but not limited to; Customer Service, Patient’s Rights, Confidentiality of Information, Environment of Care and AHMC initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently performs payroll editing correctly meeting all time deadlines
  • Oversees all staff records inclusive of payroll time editing
  • Responsible for maintenance and timely processing of staff records inclusive of education completion documents, self-evaluations and evaluations.
  • Processes invoices, expense reports in timely and organized manner.
  • Ensures daily management log is complete by 1100 each work day.
  • Responsible to maintain documents (i.e. PCNs) of current staff with regards to status changes, new hires and resignations.
  • Ensures that orientation binders are available to clinical shift managers prior to employees second day of orientation.
  • Demonstrates the ability to prioritize workload and support several areas of departmental clinical/clerical/data needs simultaneously.
  • Files and organizes documents related to staff
  • Adheres to HIPAA, employee confidentiality and performs in a confidential and professional manner.
  • Demonstrates the ability to prioritize while dealing with interruptions and attain results regardless of task levels.
  • Effective organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize duties while working under several deadlines
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Associate degree preferred

    Three years experience in a secretarial/administrative role preferred

    Experience in an acute-care hospital preferred
