Aggieville Brewing Company is Hiring a Bartender Near Manhattan, KS

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Interact with customers, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on preferences.
  • Mix and garnish drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to underage or intoxicated guests.
  • Handle cash and card transactions, balancing the cash register at the end of the shift.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
  • Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and restocking supplies as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment.
  • Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with composure.
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of applicable alcohol laws and regulations.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Craft beer knowledge not required but is preferred.

Pay: Starting at $7.25/hour tips
