Job Title: Receptionist

Job Type: Full-time

Job Location: Onsite; Columbus, OH

Salary: $19 - $21 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Receptionist is responsible for greeting, assisting, and providing direction and information to patients, visitors, and other guests of the organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSABILITES:

• Greets visitors and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts them to the appropriate location.
• Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes and delivers messages.
• Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
• Performs administrative and clerical support tasks. Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE:

• Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
