About Your Role:

Affinity Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager of communications and Content Marketing to join our in-house marketing team. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Marketing, this individual will play a key role in developing and optimizing Affinity Solutions’ public relations and communications strategy, including PR, social media, speakerships, awards, and content marketing.

This position will be responsible for developing plans and directly managing internal and external communications activities that boost brand awareness, increase market share, and drive marketing qualified leads. They will play a key role in shaping the Affinity Solutions brand voice and ensuring value to our audiences.

Your Contributions:

Strategy & Planning:

• Lead development of a marketing communications strategy geared toward marketplace education, customer acquisition, and retention.
• Develop a roadmap and editorial calendar for internal and external-facing communications.
• Execute communications strategies to boost brand awareness, increase market share, and drive marketing qualified leads (MQLs).
• Ensure all content produced is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience across channels.
• Measure and track the effectiveness of each communications initiative.

Public Relations:

• Oversee development of Affinity Solutions’ global PR strategy; manage PR firm.
• Manage production of high-quality, informative, and interesting press releases, bylines, and related materials to deliver against company goals.
• Prepare executives for speakerships, including keynotes, panel appearances, and other opportunities; oversee briefings with the media; and provide coaching and training as needed.
• Create speaker abstracts and pitch for earned speaking opportunities.
• Analyze media coverage; develop responses when needed, such as drafting quotes, POVs, and key messaging.
• Lead the development of materials for internal and external events.
• Manage relevant award nominations for the company.

Content Marketing:

• Develop content marketing initiatives across all platforms to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that deliver sales and customer retention.
• Own long- and short-form content development for campaigns and one-off projects across Affinity Solutions, including e-newsletter, blog, website, email, display, video, and social media.
• Manage all social channels, including content creation.
• Be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, and writing.
• Assist with researching and developing industry and competitive insights, trends, and opportunity spaces.

Your Qualifications:

• 5 years in public relations, corporate communications and marketing, or related field. Experience working in the marketing and/or ad tech industry is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of current data and media landscape.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills with editorial expertise.
• Track record of developing compelling marketing materials (samples must be provided).
• Expertise in best practices of the main social media channels, focusing on which content and approaches work on each and why.
• Experience creating diverse types of content, such as eBooks, white papers, infographics, guides, and blogs.
• A keen eye for detail and aesthetic.
• Not afraid to get your hands dirty; great attitude and willingness to help wherever necessary. Demonstrated ability to work across functions within and outside of marketing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of global trends and the interconnectedness of different markets.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000

Affinity Working Hours: 9AM-5:30PM
