We're looking for a both par-time and full-time Dental Assistants, who are driven, patient-centric, and a team player, for our practice in Midtown Manhattan. The ideal candidates will have experience in the field of dentistry and a commitment to grow and innovate to best serve our patients. You'll be responsible for preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials, as well as compliantly delivering procedures and protocols.

Location:
- 286 Madison Dental: 286 Madison Avenue, Suite 500, New York, NY 10017
Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8AM – 6PM
- Possibly on Friday: 8AM – 1PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing a safe, comforting, and welcoming exam room atmosphere
- Sterilize and deliver instruments to treatment area, position and pass instruments and materials, suction, and expose/develop radiographic studies
- Pour, trim, and polish study casts and removable appliances
- Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calling for repairs
- Track inventory levels, anticipate needed supplies, and verify receipt of supplies
- Document dental care services by charting in patient records
- Prepare and sanitize exam room and take ex-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Diploma or certificate from an approved Dental Assistant program as accredited by CODA
- Current NY DA license, or NY DANB CDA, ICE & RHS Certifications (depending on state requirements)
- CPR Certification
- 2 years of dental office experience (Required)
