Position Overview

New opening for a full time senior level AP person with benefits and paid time off. This is a hybrid role with a partial work from home schedule. 

This position is responsible for the daily urgent and complex research inquires and resolutions and assisting the Accounts Payable Manager with reporting, review and special projects of the Accounts Payable Department by ensuring company policy and departmental goals and timelines are being met and achieved.

The main duties include:

• Research, analyze, and resolve complex Accounts Payable billing, payments, inquiries, and escalations timely and thoroughly.
• Analyze Accounts Payable transactions to ensure compliance with internal controls, department operating procedures, accuracy in coding, and approval process via purchase order or non-PO approval routing.
• Research information to provide accurate and timely solutions to internal clients and vendor inquiries regarding urgent issues, payment status, and aging statements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for the Accounts Payable Manager to ensure all deadlines and tasks are completed.
• Assist with the entry and processing of vendor invoices into the Company’s designated ERP system.
• Assist with processing 1099 payments and annual tax filings.
• Support the AP Manager in special projects and tasks as assigned.

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3 years of Accounts Payable experience required.
• 5 years of Accounts Payable experience including experience with AP research and resolution preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite and Tipalti is preferred.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
