Adzemen Demolition, Inc. is looking to hire an experienced assistant project manager.
We are a growing interior demolition company servicing MA, Southern NH, and the Cape and islands based out of Woburn, MA.
Our ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, be a decision maker, excel in creative thinking, be organized and thorough, and understand and implement our core values of safety, hard work and efficiency. Ideally having a bachelors in Construction Management or similar degree.
All eligible candidates must have a valid US driver's license, at least 1 year assistant project management experience (demolition preferred), work well with others and be part of a team.
There is also room to grow into sales from this position and our ideal candidate will have confidence in future sales abilities including cold calling and cold emailing.
We are looking to make a hire by spring but are willing to hire the right candidate sooner.
```Duties```:
- Supervise and coordinate demolition projects from start to finish
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources
- Oversee the demolition crew and ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Coordinate equipment pick up and drop off for active projects, including tracking where all equipment is
- Review blueprints and construction plans to determine the scope of work
- Manage project documentation, including permits, contracts, and change orders
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the demolition process
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with specifications
```Experience```:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in demolition (preferred) or construction management
- Strong knowledge of demolition techniques, equipment, and materials
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Prolog, Primavera, or Bluebeam
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Experience in construction estimating and budgeting
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team
