Job Description
Residential Project Manager
Woburn-based construction company in business over 35 years is seeking a full-time, experienced, and self-motivated residential construction Project Manager to join our team to manage new construction and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction with the ability to estimate and build quality projects on schedule and work well with municipal agencies, subcontractors and clients. This is an awesome opportunity for qualified candidates to join our growing company for a long-term career and includes a competitive salary, bonus program, and full benefits package.
This position requires:
- A valid Construction Supervisor License (CSL)
- The ability to concurrently manage multiple projects
- Project estimating and budgeting
- Subcontractor bid solicitation, review, negotiation and award
- Subcontractor supervision and management
- The ability to develop and manage client relationships
- The ability to develop and monitor project schedules
- The ability to manage costs and billings for the projects
- The ability to identify, prepare and negotiate change orders as necessary
- Familiarity with materials and methods utilized in residential construction
- The ability to successfully manage the project close out
- Strong organizational skills
- Proven leadership and management qualities
- Ability to work and interact in a team environment
- A detail-oriented approach to problem solving
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in residential building construction
- Proficiency in M.S. Project, Excel, Word and Outlook
