Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, leasing, and sales, with a thorough understanding of Fair Housing regulations and legal administrative processes.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of commercial property operations, including leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and financial performance
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Develop and implement property management plans, budgets, and strategies to maximize occupancy rates and rental income
- Market available spaces to prospective tenants and negotiate lease agreements
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for property repairs and maintenance
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including Fair Housing laws
- Maintain accurate records of property activities, leases, contracts, and financial transactions
- Stay updated on market trends and competition in the commercial real estate industry
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial property management or related field
- Strong knowledge of property maintenance practices and procedures
- Proficiency in property management software such as OneSite or similar platforms
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of legal administrative processes related to property management
